Kirchof tin noisemakers are an example of popular noisemaker toys that have been around for quite a long time. Kirchhof manufactured tin noisemakers in the early part of the 1900's. These early noisemakers were made from tin and came complete with handles made from sculpted wood. Later versions of these noisemakers would be made with plastic handles.

In order to tell if a tin noisemaker is an authentic antique that was produced by the popular Kirchhof company, look for a marking that clearly states that it was made in the USA by Kirchhof of Newark, New Jersey.
